About

Welcome my name is Helen Efstathiou,
I am a contentment expert.

I am a practising Kinesiologist, Aromatherapist, Life Coach and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, and lecturer at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I love helping busy working mums feel more in control, regain a clear head and feel more capable. What I’m really passionate about is teaching you to feel more content and enjoy the life you deserve and live your true purpose.

What I have lived

With a family member very sick I had to learn to look after myself, because if I didn’t I wouldn’t have the strength to look after others in my family. I have been through ups and downs throughout my life and had to grow up fast and worked in family business and felt I lost my childhood. I lost my mum which made me look at life in a different perspective.

What I have learnt

That only you can make a change in your life to help yourself. Blaming others is not going to make you feel better as it’s a reflection of what you don’t like about yourself. We are here for a short time so make every minute count. We can’t do everything ourselves so don’t be afraid to ask for help. Live in the moment, forget the past and look to the future. We all have a purpose and we deserve to see it through.

What I love

Life, people, family, me time, time with family and friends.

Steps of
my journey.

I studied IT and worked in the industry for one year when I opened up my own homewares store with my fiancé. My fiancé left his work to run the shop with me and I still had my job as I didn’t want to give it up.

I eventually left my job as the business was profitable and I was feeling the pressure to become more involved. However, as time went on the retail shop began to struggle and we were faced with the  next challenge of trying to re-lease it. During this difficult season my second child was born with sleep apnea and had to undergo surgery at only nine months old

Then a few years later my mother, whom I was very close to, had a stroke that left her brain dead. She was unable to speak, understand or walk. However with the help of holistic medicine my mother learnt how to walk again with assistance.

My mum was everything to me and I needed something to cope so I learnt Reike and pranic healing to help me with my loss. While my mother was in the nursing home I was empowered to study kinesiology, acupuncture, aromatherapy and life coaching. I had witnessed a session of mum having kinesiology after her stroke that allowed her to stop the crying and be at peace within herself.

Mum put me on a journey to study and do what I was passionate about, which was health and wellbeing and helping others. My mother was always a busy working mum but was not able to de-stress and carried a lot of regret. A few years after my youngest was born my husband was diagnosed with two tumours. Whilst this was a frightening time, my natural medicine knowledge enabled me to guide the whole family down a blessed path. I had to remain strong and keep the family unit together and make the kids feel that all is well.

It was a difficult time for all and I know without the techniques I had learnt, I would not have been able to cope with nursing my husband, working, studying and looking after our children at the same time.
